Calf augmentation procedures are rarely performed in aesthetic surgery. Calf augmentation operations with silicone gel implants (90-120 cc, symmetric shape) were performed in 5 patients (all woman, average age 32 years old). Unilateral implantation was performed in one patient with leg atrophy due to polimyelitis while remaining 4 underwent bilateral implantation into subfascial pouches prepared at the medial calf site. Operation technique and results obtained at one year-follow-up on avarage are presented and discussed.
