İmgeye Gömülmek: Plastik Sanatlarda Gömülme Deneyimi Üzerine Bir Değerlendirme

Abstract

Bilinen sanat tarihinin çok büyük bir kısmı insan yaratıcılığının şekillendiği imgelerin tarihidir. Aynı tarihsel birikim, sayıları az da olsa göstermemeyi, anlatmamayı ve üretmemeyi ilke edinmiş sanatçıların imgelerini de içermektedir. Sanatın temel problemlerinden biri olarak yüzyıllar boyunca değişen imgeler, günümüzde seyir pratikleri açısından yoğun duyusal deneyimler sunabilmektedir. Çeşitli düzeylerde gözlemcilerini kuşatan bu imgeler, kısmi bir izolasyon duygusu yaratır ve sonuç olarak izleyicide imgenin ayrılmaz bir bileşeni olma izlenimini uyandırırlar. Bu türden imgeler üreten sanat yapıtları, gömülme deneyimi yaratan sanat yapıtları biçiminde tanımlanmaktadır. Bu makalede imge kavramı ve kavrayışı Husserl’in fenomenoloji perspektifinden ele alınacak, estetik deneyimde imgeye gömülme kavramı değerlendirilecek ve imgenin teknolojiyle ilişkisi bağlamında sanat yapıtı deneyimleme biçimlerinde yarattığı dönüşümlere yönelik tarihsel bir izlek oluşturulacaktır.
