Abstract

Ekonomik güvenlik fikrinin hem kuramsal anlamda hem de siyasa oluşumu açısından kavranması zordur. Bu güvenlik türü, bir yandan, diğer güvenlik türleriyle çok yoğun bir bağlantı içindeymiş gibi görünür. Fakat diğer taraftan, piyasa bağlantılı neredeyse tüm eylemlerde bir derece güvensizlik mevcut olduğundan ekonomik olarak güvenli bir referans nesnesi aramak nafile gözükür. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ekonomik güvenlik söyleminin, Çağdaş Ekonomi kuramı ve bu kitaptaki diğer çalışmalarda geliştirilen güvenliğin sistemsel unsurları çerçevesine nasıl yarleştirilebileceğini göstermektir. Çalışma, ekonomik güvenlik, Çağdaş Ekonomi kuramı ve güvenlik söylemindeki sistem yaklaşımları arasındaki bağlantılara yönelik çalışmalara bir giriş olarak tasarlanmıştır.

Economic Security

Abstract

The idea of economik security is especially difficult to grasp, both in theory and in policy–making. On the one hand it is always seen as closely interlinked with other security sectors. On the other, however, it is commonly agreed that it is pointless to search for any economically secure reference object since a certain degree of insecurity is an inherent attribute of almost any market–related activities. The aim of this work is to show how the discourse on economic security can be put in a broader framework of contemporary economic theory and of systemic aspects of security developed in other parts of this book. The work is designed as an introduction to the study of the links between economic security, modern economic theory, and systems approach in security discourse
