Two Acute Coronary Syndrome Cases Induced By Panax Usage; The Secret and Big Danger?

Abstract

Atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases have become epidemic. They are the most common causes of morbidity and mortality. In recent years, herbal combination called Panax which has ingredient Tribulus terrestris (TT), Avena sativa (AS), and Panax Ginseng (PG), often used by patients with coronary artery disease. In this article, two cases that have coronary artery disease developed acute coronary syndrome due to leaving the drugs were presented.

Abstract

Aterosklerotik kardiyovasküler hastalıklar günümüzde epidemik hale gelmiştir. Morbidite ve mortalitenin en sık nedenleridir. Son yıllarda, Tribulus terrestris (TT), Avena sativa (AS) ve Panax Ginseng (PG) içeren bitkisel karışımlar koroner arter hastaları tarafından sık olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bu yazıda, bilinen koroner arter hastalığı olmasına rağmen, ilaçlarını bırakıp bitkisel karışım kullanan ve akut koroner sendrom gelişen iki olgu sunuldu.
