Nijerya’nın Ulusal Güvenliği Kapsamında Bir Terör Örgütünün Anatomisi: Boko Haram

Abstract

Küreselleşmeyle birlikte ortaya çıkan terör organizasyonları, ulus devletlerin ve vatandaşlarının güvenliğine tehdit oluşturmaya başlamıştır. Günümüzde ideolojik şiddet grupları ve faaliyetleri ulus devletin nitelikleriyle çelişmektedir. Bu çelişki, Nijerya’nın son yıllarda terör faaliyetleri nedeniyle maruz kaldığı güvenlik tehdidi üzerinde de görülmektedir. Bölgede çok sayıda terör grubu olmasına rağmen, en dikkat çekeni Boko Haram’dır. Bu grup, 2009 yılından bu yana köktendinci ideolojileri kullanarak gerçekleştirdikleri terör eylemleriyle Nijerya’nın bugün en büyük güvenlik sorunlarından birini oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Nijerya’nın ulusal güvenliği üzerindeki Boko Haram etkisini tartışmaktır.
