Korunga (Onobrychis Viciifolia Scop.): Önemli Bir Arı Bitkisi

Abstract

Balarısı, yabancı tozlaşmaya gereksinim duyan çok sayıdaki bitki türünün tozlaşmasında etkili olan arı türlerinin Calderone, 2000). Ancak vurgulamak gerekir ki balarısı hiçbir zaman bir veya birkaç bitki türünün ziyaretine özelleşmemiş, genel bir ziyaretçi ve tozlayıcıdır. Başta balarısı olmak üzere arıların çiçekler üzerindeki faaliyetlerini etkileyen bazı fak- törler vardır. Bunlar: a) çiçekteki polen veya nekta- rın kalitesi, b) çiçeğin yapısında polen ve nektarın arılar tarafından alınabilme kolaylığı, c) arının bu- lunduu yerin kaynağa olan uzaklığı, d) hava koşul- ları, e) arıların birbirleri ile olan rekabetleri. Balarıla- rı, koloniden 13,5 km uzak mesafeye kadar uçarak polen veya nektar toplayabilmekte ve her uçuş seferi 15–106 dakika sürmektedir (Richards ve Keven, 2002). Balarıları hava koşullarına karşı çok daha fazla hassasiyet göstermekte; sıcaklıktaki düşüşler, bulutlanma ve rüzgâr arıların araziyi terk edip kovanlarına dönmelerine neden olmaktadır
