Author Guidelines
1. ULUM Journal of Religious Studies is published by the ULUM Islamic Sciences Education and Solidarity Center, which was established by the faculty members of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences of Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University. In the publication process, ULUM collabrates with Aybu faculty of Islamic Sciences.
2. ULUM publishes academic studies in the field of religious studies.
3. ULUM is published online twice a year, on 31 July and 31 December.
4. ULUM accepts academic studies in the form of research articles, book reviews, doctoral thesis abstracts and translations.
5. ULUM's publication languages are Turkish, English, Arabic.
6. Studies in the book review type are accepted only by experts with doctoral degrees in that field.
7. The Publisher covers all expenses of the journal. The publication of articles and the execution of article processes are free of charge. No processing fee or submission fee is charged for papers submitted to the journal or accepted for publication.
8. Submitted articles must comply with the aim and scope of the journal.
9. During the application process, a maximum of 500 words in Turkish, an English abstract, and a minimum of five and a maximum of eight key concepts in Turkish and English must be written.
10. The studies should be written in the Microsoft Word program, with at least 2.5 cm margins, all of the text is in Gentium Plus font, 10 points -except for the Arabic expressions Traditional Arabic (12 points)- and 1.15 line spacing. Footnotes should be written in 8 points and single line spacing.
11. Copyright and publication rights of the author(s) are reserved.

13. Scientific, intellectual and literary responsibility of the published articles belongs to the authors.
14. Studies submitted to the journal are subject to the referee process in which the double-blind refereeing system is operated with precision. In addition, all articles are screened for plagiarism in order to prevent publication ethics violations, and a prerequisite is that the similarity rate does not exceed 20%.
15. For articles that require Ethics Committee approval, Ethics Committee approvals should be obtained and approval information (committee name, date and number) should be stated on the first page of the article and in the method section. For research that requires Ethics Committee approval, please check the Journal's Ethical Principles and Publication Policy.
16. At the end of the article, before the bibliography, the researchers' contribution rate statement, if any, support and acknowledgment and conflict statements should be stated in accordance with the the table below.
17. After the article is sent to the Journal for publication, the names of any of the authors cannot be deleted from the list of authors without the written consent of all authors, a new name cannot be added as an author, and the order of authors cannot be changed.

19. On the first page of the work sent to ULUM, the author's name, institution, ORCID information should be written in accordance with the ISNAD Citation System.
