Publication Ethics
Journal of Karabuk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has adopted the principle of ensuring the highest level of international ethical standards.
If any non-compliance with academic and ethical principles is detected at any evaluation stage, the evaluation process of the manuscripts, regardless of the stage, is immediately suspended and returned to the author(s) together with the reasons.
The Journal Editorial Board, the Managing Editor and the Journal Editorial Secretariat are obliged to ensure the confidentiality of all studies submitted to the journal until publication, and no information about the studies can be given to anyone other than the author(s).
The manuscripts submitted to the journal are evaluated by a double-blind referee system. If the referee evaluations are contradictory or insufficient, the Editorial Board may apply for additional referee evaluations.
The main task of the referees is to contribute to the decision of the Editorial Board regarding the publication of the manuscripts submitted to their evaluation. Reviewers are obliged to observe confidentiality while making their evaluations and cannot use the information obtained during the evaluation process for their personal purposes and interests. Reviewers should be objective in their criticisms and avoid personal comments on the author(s) by focusing on the study.
The evaluation process of the manuscripts submitted to the journal is described in detail. The final decision regarding the studies to be published in the journal belongs to the Editorial Board. The journal is not obliged to provide justification to the authors of unpublished studies.
Authors are obliged to submit an original work to the journal and must indicate the sources they use in their work with citations in accordance with academic criteria. If the contrary situation is detected, the study will be rejected.
Authors should not submit the same study or a similar study to more than one journal. Simultaneous submission of the same study to more than one journal is unethical and will result in the rejection of the study upon detection.
