Abstract
Gastrointestinal veya üriner sisteme ait hastalıklardan ya da travma sonucunda fekal veya üriner drenajın yapılabilmesi ve iyileşme sürecinin kolaylaştırılması için stoma açılmaktadır. Stoma bireylerin hayatını fizyolojik, psikolojik, sosyal ve kültürel olarak etkilemektedir. Stoma ile yaşam sırasında kopmlikasyonların meydana gelmesi de bu sürecin zorlaşmasına neden olmaktadır. Bireyin stomalı hayata uyum sağlayabilmesinde stoma bakımı ve yönetimi önemlidir. Yara bakım hemşireleri stomalı bireye özgü eğitimlerinde hastaları sürece dahil etmektedirler.
Olgu sunumumuzda, ameliyat sonrası ortaya çıkan enteroatmosferik fistül nedeniyle stoma yönetiminde hemşirelik bakımı ve eğitimi yer almaktadır. Yönetimi zor olan bir stomada stoma ve yara bakım hemşiresinin ekip içindeki önemi vurgulanmıştır.
