Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, TFF 1. Lig’i ilk 6 sırada tamamlayan takımların gol sayısı ve ilk yarı-müsabaka sonucu parametrelerini analiz etmektir.

Materyal ve Metot: Araştırma, play-off sisteminin uygulanmaya başlandığı 2005-2006 sezonu ile 2020-2021 sezonu arasındaki 16 sezonda, TFF 1. Lig’i ilk 6 sırada tamamlayan 96 takımın (n=96) lig performansları analiz edilerek gerçekleştirildi. Ligin ilk 6 sırada tamamlayan takımların iç ve dış sahada oynadıkları müsabakalarda attıkları ve yedikleri gollerin sayısı ve ilk yarı-müsabaka sonucu parametreleri, Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu (TFF)’nun resmi internet sayfasından belirlendi. Verilerin, normal dağılıma uygunluğu Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi ile incelendi. Ligi ilk 6 sırada tamamlayan takımların attığı ve yediği gollerin sayısı ve ilk yarı-müsabaka sonucu parametrelerinin lig sıralamasına göre farklılığı, parametrik verilerde tek yönlü varyans analizi (One-way ANOVA) ile, non-parametrik verilerde Kruskal-Wallis testi ile incelendi.

Bulgular: Play-off müsabakaları sonucunda, ligi 5. sırada tamamlayan takımların en fazla sayıda (8 kez, %50), ligi 3. sırada tamamlayan takımların ise en az sayıda (1 kez, %6) Süper Lig’e yükseldiği belirlendi. Ligi 1. sırada tamamlayan takımların, ligi 4., 5. ve 6. sırada tamamlayan takımlardan iç sahada (1: 36.88±5.20, 4: 32.44±3.85, 5: 31.13±4.49, 6: 32.13±3.03 puan) ve dış sahada (1: 30,63±4.95, 4: 25.06±4.74, 5: 24.81±4.88, 6: 22.38±3.91puan) daha fazla puan topladığı bulundu (p<0.05). Takımların ilk yarı-müsabaka sonucu parametreleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık belirlenmedi (p>0.05).

 

Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, Süper Lig’e direkt yükselme şansını ligin son bölümünde kaybeden 3. sıradaki takımların mental ve fiziksel açıdan olumsuz etkilenebileceği ve bundan dolayı play-off müsabakalarında başarısız olabileceği ifade edilebilir.

Analysis of Teams Completing the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) 1st League in Top Six Ranks

Abstract

Aim: The purpose of this study was to analyze goal number and first half-match result parameters of teams completed TFF 1. League in top six ranks.

Methods: The study was carried out by analyzing the league performances of 96 teams (n=96) completing the TFF 1. league in the top 6 ranks in 16 seasons between the 2005-2006 season, when the play-off system was started to be implemented, and the 2020-2021 season. The number of goals scored and conceded by teams and the first half-match result parameters of teams completing the league in the top 6 ranks were determined from the official web site of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF). The conformity to the normal distribution of the data was examined with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The differences in the number of goals scored and conceded by the teams and the first half-match result parameters of teams completing the league in the top six ranks according to league ranking were examined with one-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA) for parametric data and Kruskal-Wallis test for non-parametric data.

Results: As a result of the play-off matches, it was determined that the teams completing the league in the 5th rank promoted to the Super League in the highest number (six times, 50%), while the teams completing the league in the 3rd rank promoted to the Super League in the least number (one time, 6%). It was found that the teams completing the league in the 1st rank collected more points from the teams completing the league in the 4th, 5th and 6th ranks in home (1: 36.88±5.20, 4:32.44±3.85, 5:31.13±4.49, 6: 32.13±3.03 points) and away (1:30.63±4.95, 4: 25.06±4.74, 5: 24.81±4.88, 6: 22.38±3.91 points) matches (p<0.05). No statistically significant difference was determined between the first half-match result parameters of the teams (p>0.05).

Conclusion: Consequently, it may be said that teams in the 3rd losing their chance to promote directly to the Super League in last part of league may be adversely affected mentally and physically and therefore may fail in play-off matches.
