Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

ETHICS

The International Journal of Sport, Exercise and Training Sciences is committed to the highest standards of research and publication ethics. If ethical misconduct is suspected, the Editorial Board will act in accordance with the relevant international rules of publication ethics (i.e., COPE guidelines, ICMJE Recommendations, CSE White Paper on Publication Ethics, WAME resources, WMA policies and ORI).

PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism is the most common and serious ethical problem affecting scientific writing. International Journal of Sport, Exercise and Educational Sciences takes many precautions to prevent any form of plagiarism. In accordance with today's policy, studies should not contain plagiarism, and the plagiarism report obtained from Turnitin or iThenticate programs should be uploaded to the system with the study. In order for the studies to be evaluated, the Turnitin or iThenticate plagiarism report must be 15% or less, excluding bibliography (including graduate theses).

Studies with similarity rates above these rates or without a Turnitin / iThenticate report will be rejected during the preliminary evaluation process. Articles with a similarity rate of more than 15% will be rejected even if they are accepted for publication.
