Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de psikanalize dair sağduyu bilgisi ve bilimsel bilgi formlarının karşı karşıya kalmaları sonucu meydana gelen sosyal temsiller olgusunu incelemektir. Bu araştırmada varılmak istenen nokta, psikanaliz bilgisinin hangi bilgi formuna dönüştüğü veya eklemlendiğini ortaya koymaktır. Bütün dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de, insanların ilgisini çeken temel konulardan biri insan ruh sağlığıdır. Ruh sağlığı hakkında psikiyatri ve klinik psikoloji bilimsel bilgiler üretir. Psikiyatri ve klinik psikoloji, ruhsal sağlığı tanımlar, ruhsal rahatsızlıkların ölçütlerini belirler ve tedavi yolları üretir. Psikiyatri ve klinik psikoloji alanlarının en önemli ve itibar gören kuramlarından biri psikanalizdir. Psikanaliz, ruh sağlığı ile ilgili önemli açıklamalar yapar ve bir tedavi yöntemi önerir. Bu çalışma, Türkiye’de psikanalize dair bilgini hangi biçimde kullanıldığını ortaya koymak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze the social representation phenomenon, resulting from the confrontation between common sense on psychoanalysis and scientific information forms in Turkey. The desired conclusion of this research is to reveal the information form that psychoanalysis transforms into or is articulated on. In Turkey, as throughout the world, one of the most attractive topics for the public is mental health. Psychiatry and clinical psychology produce scientific information on the mental health. Psychiatry and clinical psychology defines mental health, determines the criteria of mental disorders and produces therapeutic approaches. One of the most important and respected theories of psychiatry and clinical psychology is psychoanalysis. Psychoanalysis develops significant explanations on the mental health and suggests a therapy method. This research is conducted to reveal the form in which the information on psychoanalysis is used in Turkey
