Her areas of research are public finance theory, public finance economics, public budget and gender. Throughout her career, she took part in various international and national congress, participated in seminars and workshops, and make national and international book editorships. Since 2012 - Professor of Finance at the Faculty of Business and Technology, Caucasus International University.

Since 2018 - Accreditation Expert at National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement of Georgia
Since 2019 - Certified reviewer at WoS Publons Academy and a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Eastern European and Central Asian Research (JEECAR) and the Caucasus International University’s International Journal of Social Sciences.
A certified project manager (PRINCE 2 Certificate # P2R / 165226 issued by APMG - the world-leading accreditation and testing institute) with more than 15 years of working experience in project management for the UNDP, the USAID and the OSGF in Georgia.
I have extensive experience of scientific and pedagogical cooperation with various universities. For years, I delivered lectures at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Ilia State University. Currently, I am collaborating with TSU and Speyer (Germany) University of Administrative Sciences on a joint English-language master's program in Public Administration as a Visiting Lecturer. I have experience in delivering lectures at foreign universities.
I have been actively involved in scientific research; regularly present research findings to the scientific community through conferences, forums, symposia and seminars both in Georgia and abroad and publish them in scientific journals.
My research interest includes financial education and inclusion, the impact of education on economic development, quality of education and workforce competitiveness, financing for development, etc.
More than 30 research papers are published in different scientific journals.

N.TUBA YILMAZ was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1984. She received her B.S. degree in econometrics from Marmara University, Turkey, in 2006 and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in operational research from Marmara University, Turkey, in 2009 and 2015, respectively. During her master’s program, she was a researcher at SRH Hochschule Berlin, Germany, for one year. From 2007 to 2016, she was a research assistant with the Econometrics Department, Marmara University. Since 2016, she has been an assistant professor with the Department of Econometrics at Marmara University. Dr. Yılmaz's research interests include game theory, simulation and stochastic processes.
