I was studying at the Faculty of Business of the Dokuz Eylül University (İzmir, Turkey). I hold Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Surrey in 2010 and 2015. I completed my PhD thesis, which was titled as “Essays on Efficiency and Technological Change in The Banking Sector.”, under supervision of Prof. Vasco Gabriel and Dr. İoannis Lazopoulos. This thesis investigates the efficiency subjects in the banking sector. There are three essays related to efficiency in different countries the banking sector in this thesis. My current research projects include the banking system, foreign exchange rates policy, the international trade and the liberalization policy in EU and Turkey.
