In recent years, memristors have attracted significant attention because of their increasing potential in many applications. Their use as analog interface protection circuit elements against transient voltage fluctuations in analog integrated circuits has been shown to offer higher sensitivity compared to conventional protection components, hence believed to protect other circuit components on the interface. In this study, the proposed implementation of a memristor-based protection scheme is explained in detail through the design of the circuit and the results of simulation studies. In addition to that, Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diodes are incorporated as the primary protection elements on the first stage of protection as they served in the conventional protection.
Son yıllarda memristörler farklı uygulamalarda kullanım potansiyelleri üzerine yapılan çalışmalarla oldukça dikkat çekmiştir. Analog arayüzleri ani gerilim dalgalanmalarına karşı koruma amacıyla kullanılması, geleneksel koruma elemanlarına kıyasla daha yüksek duyarlılık sunmakta ve devre elemanlarının zarar görmesini engelleyeceği öngörülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, memristör tabanlı koruma devresi tasarımı sunulmuştur. Koşulan benzetim sonuçları doğrultusunda, kullanım yöntemi ayrıntılı şekilde anlatılmıştır. Ayrıca, koruma işlevinin ilk aşamasında geleneksel çözüm olan Geçici Gerilim Baskılama (TVS - Transient Voltage Suppression) diyotlarının kullanımı öngörülmektedir.

30.03.2021-Beginning with our April 2021 (26/1) issue, in accordance with the new criteria of TR-Dizin, the Declaration of Conflict of Interest and the Declaration of Author Contribution forms fulfilled and signed by all authors are required as well as the Copyright form during the initial submission of the manuscript. Furthermore two new sections, i.e. ‘Conflict of Interest’ and ‘Author Contribution’, should be added to the manuscript. Links of those forms that should be submitted with the initial manuscript can be found in our 'Author Guidelines' and 'Submission Procedure' pages. The manuscript template is also updated. For articles reviewed and accepted for publication in our 2021 and ongoing issues and for articles currently under review process, those forms should also be fulfilled, signed and uploaded to the system by authors.
