MODERN UYGHUR LITERATURE AND ITS FUTURE

Abstract

Modern Uyghur Literature expresses the Uyghur Literature which is formed in the end of the 19th century and in the beginning of the 20th century. While Uyghur Literature is intensified on the classical works in the mid of the 19th century, it entered a new period because of the political events which are experienced in the Eastern Turkistan after the mid of this century. We consider the development which is shown in the 1930’s, 1940’s years by the Modern Uyghur Literature which is formed in the beginning of the 20th century separately from the reform and publication works which are performed in education. The subject which is mentioned in the literature changed because of the management change in the year 1949 and the Modern Uyghur Literature and scholars are heavily impacted in the Culture Reform. Novel took more importance in the Modern Uyghur Literature which enlivened after the year 1976 and history which is a prohibited subject started to be seen intensively in the literary works. When we come to the year 2000, so-called “bilingual education” started to be implemented and to become widespread increasingly. Leaving Uyghur Turkish out of operation beginning from the nursery not only took the new generations far from the national values but also it will remove the printing and publication, and will influence the future of the Modern Uyghur Literature.

ÇAĞDAŞ UYGUR EDEBİYATI VE ONUN GELECEĞİ

Abstract

Çağdaş Uygur edebiyatı, XIX. yüzyılın sonu XX. yüzyılın başlarında oluşan Uygur edebiyatını ifade etmektedir. Uygur Edebiyatı, XIX. yüzyılın ortalarına kadar divan şiiri merkezli gelişirken, bu yüzyılın ikinci yarısından itibaren yavaş yavaş yeni bir döneme girmiştir. XX. yüzyılın başlarında oluşan Çağdaş Uygur Edebiyatının 1930'lu ve 1940’lı yıllarda gösterdiği gelişmeyi ceditçilik hareketinden ayrı düşünemeyiz. 1949’da yönetimin el değiştirmesi nedeniyle, edebiyatta işlenen konular da değişmiş, Kültür Devrimi’nde çağdaş Uygur edebiyatı ve edipler ağır darbe almıştır. 1976 sonrasında canlanan çağdaş Uygur edebiyatında roman ön plana çıkmış, yasak konu olan tarih, edebî eserlerde yoğun olarak işlenmeye başlamıştır. 2000 yılına gelindiğinde ise sözde “çift dilli eğitim” uygulanmaya ve yaygınlaştırılmaya başlamıştır. Uygur Türkçesinin kreşten itibaren devre dışı bırakılması, yetişecek nesilleri millî değerlerden uzaklaştırmakla kalmayıp, Uygurca basın yayını ortadan kaldıracağı gibi, çağdaş Uygur edebiyatının geleceğini de olumsuz yönde etkileyecektir.
