Ketamine-Ksilazin Anestezisi Uygulanmış Bozova Tazılarında Oksidatif Stres Parametreleri

Abstract

Bu
çalışma ksilazin-ketamin anestezisinin Bozova tazılarında bazı iz element (Cu,
Zn, Mn) ve oksidatif stres parametreleri (SOD, CAT, GPx, MDA) üzerine
etkilerini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapıldı. Farklı yaş, vücut ağırlığı ve
cinsiyetteki toplam sekiz tazı kullanıldı. Farklı şikâyetlerle gelen bu hayvanlara
Ketamin (10mg/kg) ve ksilazin (1 mg / k g) kas içi enjekte edildi. Anestezi
öncesi ve anestezi sırasında antikoagulanlı ve antikoagulansız tüplere kan
örnekleri alındı. Kan örnekleri 3000 rpm’de 10 dk santrifüje edilerek aynı gün
değerlendirildi. Eritrosit süperoksit dismutaz (SOD), Glutatyon Peroksidaz
(GPx), malondialdehit (MDA) ve plazma Katalaz (CAT) değerleri standart
metotlarla, serum bakır, çinko, manganez düzeyleri ICP-OES ile belirlendi. Bu
çalışmada; SOD aktivitesinin anestezi sonrasında düşük (p<0,05) olduğu
belirlenirken GPx, MDA,  CAT, Cu, Zn ve
Mn seviyelerinde istatistiksel olarak önemli bir fark belirlenmedi (p>0.05).
Sonuç olarak, ketamin ve ksilazin anestezisinin Bozova tazılarında serum Cu,
Zn, Mn seviyeleri ve oksidatif stres yönünden güvenli ve kullanılabilir olduğu
söylenebilir.

Oxidative Stress Parameters in Xylasine-Ketamine Adminestered Bozova Greyhounds

Abstract

The
present study was conducted to evaluate the effects of xylaine-ketamine
anesthezia on some micro elements and oxidative stress parameters in Bozova
greyhounds. In the study eight male greyhounds, which were in different age and
body weight were used as the material. The animals, which were, came in clinic
with different complaints injected with the ketamine (10 mg/kg) and xylazine (1
mg/kg) intramuscularly. The findings were recorded before and during
anesthesia. Blood samples were collected from the vena cephalica. Serum copper,
zinc, manganese levels were determined by an
ICP-OES. Superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione
peroxidase (GPx), malondialdehyde (MDA) and catalase (CAT) were measured by
validated standard methods. In this study, while SOD activity was lower
(p<0,05) in the post-anesthezia; a statistically significant difference
wasn't determined between the levels of Cu, Zn, Mn and, CAT, GPx, MDA
(p>0.05). In conclusion, we regard to it was seen that sera copper, zinc,
manganese levels and oxidative stress parameters, ketamine-xylazine anesthesiz
can be used safely in Bozova greyhounds
