Abstract

Özet

Sovyetler Birliği’nin küllerinden
doğan Rusya Federasyonu, Başkan Putin'in yönetiminde otoritesini artırmaya

Abstract

The Russian Federation which
emerged from the ashes of the Soviet Union has tried to assert its authority
under President Putin. Adopting a foreign policy which locates the historic
territories of the USSR as the ‘near abroad’, Moscow has paid increasing
attention to the Caucasus. In this realm it has pursued its national interests
over Nagorno-Karabakh and the Caspian Sea. This article provides an analysis of
Russian foreign policy towards the South Caucasus.
