Taraftar Fair Play Ölçeği: Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Year 2025, Volume: 4 Issue: 2, 265 - 282
https://doi.org/10.70007/yalovaspor.1751106

Abstract

Fan Fair Play Scale: Validity and Reliability Study

Year 2025, Volume: 4 Issue: 2, 265 - 282
https://doi.org/10.70007/yalovaspor.1751106

Abstract

Today, the behavior and attitudes of fans, who are among the most important stakeholders of sports, are accepted as a part of the game. For this reason, it is thought that fans are also responsible for the ethical change expected from sports. The fans' perspectives on this process are also interesting. Therefore, the aim of the current study was to examine the psychometric properties of the Fan Fair Play Scale, which is thought to enable the evaluation of this situation. The research was conducted in two stages (1st Stage EFA n= 313, 2nd Stage CFA n= 214) to test the factor structure of the scale. The results show that the scale consists of two sub-dimensions and 16 items, and this structure indicates valid and reliable results. It is thought that this structure, which has been transformed into a measurable form, will guide researchers in the field of sports sciences and the relevant results are discussed.
