Built on the concept of zühd, Sufism aims to make the “multiplicity”, which is temporarily separated from “one”, one with “one” again. The Sufi, who tries to be a perfect human by educating his/her heart and soul, must make a journey towards God for this. This journey is a journey made by the Sufi candidate to find himself/herself or come to mean. In order to embark on this journey, the traveler must give up on the matter (world) and focus on the meaning, pay attention to the desires of the heart and soul rather than the desires of the body. Yunus Emre, one of the important names raised by Turkish Sufism and Tekke-Sufism Literature in Anatolia, also started to search for meaning. He found the meaning by traveling towards God. Tapduk Emre was guided by Yunus Emre’s search for meaning. It is possible to see his search for meaning in the narratives created around his name with poems linked to his name. In this study, Yunus Emre’s search for meaning has been revealed based on the narratives created around his name with the poems attached to his name. He found the meaning he sought in becoming one with God. Completing the search for meaning under the leadership of a spiritual guide, what is desired for Yunus Emre is not God’s paradise, but God himself.
