OECD ÜLKELERİNDE İNOVASYON PERFORMANSININ ÖLÇÜLMESİ

Abstract

Küreselleşme, teknolojik gelişme ve bilginin yayılımındaki artış ile birlikte ülkelerin, firmaların rekabet edebilme potansiyelleri daha da önemli hale gelmiştir. Ekonomik büyüme, verimlilik ve üretkenliğin hayati önem kazandığı bu süreçte inovasyon anahtar kavram olarak kabul edilmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı Ekonomik İşbirliği ve Kalkınma Örgütü (OECD) üyesi ülkelerin inovasyon performansını Veri Zarflama Analizi ile ölçülmesidir. Bu amaç için OECD ülkelerinin Küresel İnovasyon Endeksini oluşturan inovasyon girdi ve çıktı endekslerinde yer alan değişkenler kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda en yüksek etkinlik skoruna sahip ilk 3 ülkenin sırası ile İsviçre, Birleşik Krallık ve ABD olduğu, en düşük etkinlik skoruna sahip ilk 3 ülkenin sırası ile Kolombiya, Meksiko ve Şili olduğu görülmüştür.
