Türkiye has made important strides in becoming one of the premier destinations in the rapidly evolving and growing world of medical tourism. “A Qualitative Study on the Organisation of Medical Tourism and Increase of Market Shares Of Türkiye” is designed to assist Türkiye in laying the sufficient organisational groundwork to further increase its market share through the input of various parties involved, including but not limited to public and private tourism service providers, NGOs, public authorities, academics and various healthcare workers.
The individuals who took part in the study were chısen based on the maximum variation sampling method. Parties involved were represented through 18 individuals, who were interviewed as to qualitatively gather information.

Responding to the question “What kind of organisational structure should be in place?”, participants highlighted the importance of auditability, existence of public-private partnership structures, cooperation between different providers and operationa flexibility.
