YÖNETİŞİM-BÜYÜME PARADOKSUNUN GELİŞMİŞ ÜLKELERDEKİ ETKİSİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Öz

Bu çalışmada Quibria (2014) çalışmasında söz edilen yönetişim-büyüme paradoksunun G7 ülkelerinde geçerliliğinin tespit edilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda G7 ülkelerinin 1996-2016 yılları arasındaki yönetişim göstergesi, doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar, brüt sabit sermaye oluşumu ve net ihracat ile gayri safi yurtiçi hasıla arasındaki ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda yönetişim-büyüme paradoksunun G7 ülkelerinde geçerli olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Yönetişim, doğrudan yabancı yatırım ve net ihracat ile gayri safi yurtiçi hasıla pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Brüt sabit sermaye oluşumu ile gayri safi yurtiçi hasıla arasında negatif bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir.
