Complementary and Alternative Treatment Methods in SARS-CoV-2 İnfection

Derginizin 2023 yılı 2. sayısında yayınlanan Güven ve arkadaşları tarafından hazırlanan “Covid-19 Tanı ve Tedavisi Alan Hastaların Klinik Bulguları ve Uygulanan Ağrı Skorlarına Bağlı Verilerin Değerlendirilmesi” başlıklı makaleyi büyük ilgiyle okuduk. Bu ilginç makale için yayın kuruluna ve yazarlara teşekkür ederiz. Pandemi döneminde mortalite ön plana çıksa da hastaneye yatmayan hastalarda yaşam standartlarını korumak için ağrı kontrolü önemli bir noktaydı. Çalışmanın tartışılmasına katkı sağlamak adına, pandemi sürecinde ağrı kontrolünde toplumun kullandığı ek yöntemlerden bahsetmek istiyoruz.

We read the article titled “Evaluation of the Clinical Findings of the Patients Receiving the Diagnosis and Treatment of Covid-19 and the Data Based on the Applied Pain Scores”, prepared by Güven et al., published in the second issue of your journal in 2023, with great interest. We thank the editorial board and the authors for this interesting article. Although mortality was prominent during the pandemic period, pain control was an important point to maintain living standards in patients who were not hospitalized. In order to contribute to the discussion of the study, we would like to talk about the additional methods used by the society in pain control during the pandemic.
