Hemşirelerde COVID-19 Aşısının Kabulü ve Hastalığa Yakalanma Korkusu

Abstract

Amaç: Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin COVID-19 aşısını kabul
düzeyini, aşıya yönelik tutum ve düşüncelerini ve hastalığa yakalanma korkusunu değerlendirmektir.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemine Ekim-Aralık 2020
tarihlerinde araştırma ölçütlerini sağlayan gönüllü 255 hemşire
dahil edildi. Verilerin elde edilmesinde araştırmacılar tarafından
literatür doğrultusunda hazırlanan soru formu ve COVID-19
Korkusu Ölçeği kullanıldı. Sayısal verilerin gösteriminde ortalama
± standart sapma (ort. ± SS), kategorik verilerin gösteriminde sayı
ve yüzde değerleri kullandı. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde Kolmogorov Simirnov ve Shapiro-Wilk testleri ile normallik analizi
yapıldı. İstatistiksel değerlendirmede anlamlılık düzeyi p<0,05 olarak alınmış olup, verilerin analizinde Ki-kare, Student t, One Way
ANOVA, Pearson Chi-square ve testleri kullanıldı.
Bulgular: Araştırmamızda katılımcıların büyük çoğunluğu
(%92.5) aşı çalışmalarını takip ettiğini belirtmesine karşın; sadece
%43,1’inin aşı olmak istediği, katılımcıların %38.0’inin aşı olma
konusunda kararsız olduğu, %18.8’inin ise aşı olmak istemediği
belirlendi. Araştırmaya katılanların toplam COVID-19 Korkusu
Ölçeği puanlarının ortalaması 19,46±6,70 (en az-en çok: 7-35)
olarak bulundu.
Tartışma ve Sonuç: Katılımcıların COVID-19 aşısını kabul etme
durumu ile yaş, medeni durum, çocuk sahibi olma durumu, kronik hastalık ve tanınmış kişilerin COVID-19 aşısı olmasının aşıya
karşı tutumları üzerinde etkili olduğu; orta düzeyde COVID-19
korkusu yaşadığı belirlendi. COVID-19 için geliştirilecek aşı ve
ilaçların, hasta olma korkusu üzerine etkilerinin değerlendirileceği
yeni çalışmalara ihtiyaç vardır.
