Abstract

Bir işletmenin rekabet avantajı elde etmesinin birçok yolu olmasına rağmen bunlardan en önemlileri yenilik ve stratejik esnekliktir (Zahra ve George, 2002). Yeniliğe ulaşmanın en etkili araçlarından biri ise işletme dışında gelişmiş olan bilgi ve teknolojilerin daha kolay anlaşılabilir ve işletme içi üretim faktörlerine dâhil edilebilir hale gelmesi için özümseme kapasitesinin artırılmasıdır (Moutinho, 2016). Bu çalışmada özümseme kapasitesi kavramının ne olduğu, hangi ihtiyaçlardan dolayı ortaya çıktığı ve zaman içinde nasıl bir değişim geçirdiği incelenmektedir.

Literature Review on the Definition of Absorptive Capacity in Firms, the Conceptualization Process and the Factors That Will Increase Absorptive Capacity

Abstract

Although there are many ways for a firm to gain a competitive advantage, the most important of these are innovation and strategic flexibility (Zahra and George, 2002). One of the most effective tools to achieve innovation is to increase the absorptive capacity so that the information and technologies developed outside the enterprise can be more easily understood and included in the internal production factors (Moutinho, 2016). In this study, what the concept of absorptive capacity is, what needs it emerged from, and how it has changed over time are examined.
