Perineal approach to posterior urethra in the management of rectourethral fistula

Abstract

The most appropriate therapeutic approaches in the management of rectourethral fistulas are still controversial. In this study, we aim to rewiev the most effective treatment options of rectouretrhral fistulas, most particularly seen as a complication of prostate cancer treatments such as definitive surgery or radiotheraphy.

Rektoüretral fistül tedavisinde arka üretraya perineal yaklaşım

Abstract

 Rektoüretral fistüllerin tedavisinde en uygun yaklaşımın ne olması gerektiği halen tartışmalı bir konu olmayı sürdürmektedir. Bu çalışmada, özellikle prostat kanserinin te­davisi için uygulanan cerrahi ve radyoterapi uygulamalarının bir komplikasyonu olarak ortaya çıkan rektoüretral fistüllerin tedavisin­de uygulanan tedavi seçeneklerini derlemeyi amaçladık.
