Yedi cm’den küçük renal kitlelerde nefron koruyucu cerrahi ve radikal nefrektomi sonuçlarının karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmada 7 cm’den küçük renal kitlelerde uygulanan radikal nefrektomi RN ve nefron koruyucu cerrahi NKC sonuçlarını değerlendirmeyi amaçladık.Gereç ve Yöntem: Yedi cm’den küçük renal kitle ön tanısı ile opere edilen toplam 86 hasta çalışmaya dahil edildi ve retrospektif değerlendirmeye alındı. NKC uygulanan 30 hasta 17 erkek, 13 kadın I.grup, RN uygulanan 56 hasta 31 erkek, 25 kadın II.grup olarak belirlendi. I.grupta patolojisi renal hücreli karsinom RHK saptanan 22 hastanın, II.grupta ise RHK saptanan 54 hastanın sağkalım verilerine ulaşıldı ve istatistiksel analizler bu hastalar üzerinden yapıldı. Gruplar; yaş, izlem süresi, ortalama tümör çapı, tümör evresi, histopatoloji, preoperatif ve postoperatif serum kreatinin değerleri ve sağkalım yönünden karşılaştırıldı.Bulgular: NKC uygulan I grupta histopatoloji 22 hastada RHK %73.3 , 7 hastada benign histoloji %23.3 , 1 hastada metastatik tümör %3.3 olarak rapor edilirken, RN uygulanan II.grupta 54 hastada RHK %96.4 , 2 hastada benign histoloji %3.6 , tespit edildi. Comparison of nephrone sparing surgery and radical nephrectomy results in renal masses smaller than 7 cm

Abstract

Objectives: In this study we aimed to compare the outcomes of nephrone sparing surgery NSS and radical nephrectomy RN on renal masses smaller than 7 cm.Materials and Meth ods: Eighty-six patients treated by surgery, with renal masses smaller than 7 cm were evaluated retrospectively. There were thirty patients 17 male, 13 female in the first group who underwent NSS, and fifty-six patients 31 male, 25 female in the second group who underwent RN. After histopathological evaluation, renal cell carcinoma RCC was detected in 22 patients in first group while RCC was detected 54 patients in second group and these patients were analyzed. Age, follow-up, mean tumour dimater, stage, histopathology, preoperative and postoperative serum creatinine levels and survival were compared between the groups.Results: While final pathological examination demonstrated 22 73.3% RCC, 7 23.3% benign pathology and 1 3.3% metastatic cancer in first group, 54 RCC 96.4% and 2 3.6% benign pathology was demonstrated in second group.
