Hematüri şikayetiyle gelen hastada prostat kanserinin nadir bir varyantı olan prostat duktal adenokarsinomu tanısı

Abstract

Prostatın duktal adenokarsinomu prostat karsinomunun nadir bir histolojik alt tipidir. Prostat kanserlerinin % 0.2’sinde görülür ve kötü prognoza sahiptir. Olgumuz, 78 yaşında erkek hasta, hematüri şikayetiyle kliniğimize başvurdu. Endoskopide verru montanum üzerinde papiller üretral kitle gösterildi. Transüretral rezeksiyon uygulandı. Histopatolojik ve immunhistokimyasal inceleme sonucunda prostat duktal adenokarsinomu tanısı konuldu. Hastaya hormonoterapi ve radyoterapi tedavisi uygulandı ve olumlu cevap alındı. Prostat duktal adenokarsinomu nadir görülen bir tümördür. Tümör kötü prognozlu olup agresif tedavi gerektirebilir. Bu nedenle erken tanı ve tedavi önem kazanmaktadır. Prostat kanserlerinin ayırıcı tanısında duktal adenokarsinomlar mutlaka akılda tutulmalıdır

Diagnosis of ductal adenocarcinoma of the prostate is a rare variant of prostate cancer from the patients with complaints of hematuria

Abstract

Ductal carcinoma of the prostate is a rare histologic subtype of prostate carcinoma. It represents 0.2% of all prostate cancers and is associated with a poor prognosis. Our case , 78 years old man, applied our clinic with complaint of of hematuria. Papillary urethral mass was shown on verru montanum by endoscopy. We performed transurethral resection. Diagnosis of prostate ductal adenocarsinoma was diagnosed by the result of histopatologic and immunohistochemical examination. The patient was treated by hormonotherapy and radiotherapy and received a positive response.The ductal adenocarcinoma of prostate is a rarely seen tumor. The tumors have poor prognoses and may require aggressive treatment. Therefore, the early diagnosis and treatment of ductal adenocarcinoma is very important. The ductal adenocarcinoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of the prostate carcinomas
