Abstract

Priapizm; ürolojik acil durumlardan birisi olup seksüel istek ve ilişkiden bağımsız olarak uzamış ağrılı ereksiyon olarak tanımlanmaktadır. İskemik priapismus gelişmesi durumunda ilk 6-8 saat içerisinde acil müdahale edilmesi gerekmektedir. Başlangıç tedavisi olarak konservatif yöntemler ejekulasyon, aspirasyon, alfa adrenerjik agonistlerin enjeksiyonu ve terbutalin tedavisi , ereksiyon süresi 24 saati geçince ise alternatif prosedür olarak şant cerrahisi uygulanmaktadır. Kliniğimizde konservatif tedaviler ve distal şantın başarısız olduğu refrakter priapizm hastasına erken dönemde uygulanan penil protez implantasyonu sunulmuştur

Abstract

Priapism, one of the urgent conditions in the practice of urology, is defined as a persistent and painful erection independent of sexual desire and intercourse. In case of ischaemic priapism, emergency treatment should be done in 6-8 hours. Conservative treatments ejeculation, aspiration, injection of alpha agonist and terbutaline should first be tried, if erection time is over 24 hours, alternative procedurs like shunt surgery should be applied.
