Mesanenin plazmasitoid ürotelyal karsinomu: Olgu sunumu

Abstract

Plasmasitoid ürotelyal karsinom ürotelyal karsinomun nadir bir varyantı olup İngilizce ve Türkçe literatürde az sayıda vaka bildirilmiştir. Bu varyantın prognozu hakkında henüz yeterli sonuçlara varılamamaktadır. 53 yaşındaki erkek hastaya, transüretral rezeksiyon spesmenlerinin mikroskopik incelenmesinde plasmasitoid görünümlü olmasıyla tanı konuldu. İmmunhistokimyasal çalışmalar ayırıcı tanı için gerekli oldu. Hastaya sistemik kemoterapide gemsitabin ve karboplatin uygulandı. Plasmacytoid urothelial carcinoma of the urinary bladder: Case report

Abstract

Plasmacytoid urothelial carcinoma is a rare variant of urothelial carcinoma with just a handful of cases reported in the English and Turkish literature. The reported data on prognosis of this variant do not yet allow any definitive conclusions. A 53-year-old man was diagnosed with plasmacytoid urothelial carcinoma by the microscopically plasmacytoid appearance of the specimen from the transurethral resection. Immunohistochemical studies was required for differential diagnosis. Systemic chemotherapy were performed with gemcitabine and carboplatin.
