Abstract

Primer testis lenfoması PTL nadir görülen bir testis tümörü olup, tüm testis tümörlerin %1-9’unu oluşturmaktadır. Preoperatuvar dönemde diğer tümörlerden ayrımı güçtür. Tanı histopatolojik olarak konulur. En sık rastlanan histolojik tipi diffüz büyük B hücreli lenfomadır. Orşiektomi sonrası adjuvant radyoterapi ve/veya kemoterapi uygulanmaktadır. Prognozu diğer testis tümörlerinden kötü olup, ilk 1 yıl içinde yayılım bulgusunun olmaması iyi prognoz işareti olarak kabul edilir. Biz 71 yaşında bir olguyu literatür eşliğinde sunduk

Primary testicular lymphoma: A case report and review of the literature

Abstract

Primary testicular lymphoma PTL is a rare testicular tumor, and constitutes 1-9 % of all testis tumors. Its preoperative differentation from other tumors is quite difficult. The diagnosis is done through histological examination. The most commonly encountered histological type is diffuse large B celll ymphoma. Adjuvant radiotherapy and/orchemotherapy is applied following orchiectomy. The prognosis is worse than other testicular tumors and, the evidence of no extension within a year suggest a good prognosis. A 71 years old patient with PTL is presented herein
