Testis torsiyonu ve papaverin kullanımı

Abstract

Testis torsiyonu, ani başlayan skrotal ağrılı, adolesan döneminde erkeklerde cerrahi gerektiren bir acildir. Tanının konulması ve en kısa sürede cerrahi yaklaşımın uygulanması testisin kurtarılmasını sağlamaktadır. Birçok çalışmada vazodilatatör, antioksidant gibi birçok ajan testis zararını azaltmak ve önlemek amaçlı denenmiştir. Papaverin bu ajanlardan bir tanesidir. 27 yaşında 12 saattir süren skrotal ağrı nedeniyle acile başvuran hasta hızlı bir şekilde değerlendirilip, testis torsiyonu ön tanısıyla cerrahiye alındı. Testis detorsiyone edildikten sonra renginde bir değişiklik olmadığı izlendi. Ardından korda papaverin enjeksiyonu yapıldı ve testis renginde ve dokusunda belirgin bir iyileşme izlendi. Bilateral orşiopeksi uygulanarak işlem sonlandırıldı

Testicular torsion and papaverın usage

Abstract

Testicular torsion remains a common surgical emergency of adolescent males presenting with sudden onset of intense scrotal pain. Prompt recognition of the condition and immediate surgical intervention is the only hope for testicular salvage.And several studies have tested several agents such as vasodilators and antioxidants to inhibit or temper testicular damage. Papaverin is the one of these agents.A twenty-seven old patient presented with the torsion of testis twelve hours after induced torsion.Exploration had been prompt and testis was detorsioned, but colour of testis was not recover. After injection of papaverin the testis was gotten beter, so orchiopexy was done.
