Abstract

Ganglionöromalar GN , sıklıkla sempatik ganglion hücrelerinden, daha az olarak da adrenal medulla ve periferik sinirlerden köken almaktadırlar. Bu tümörler, yavaş büyüyen, ve diğer hücre tiplerine göre daha benign karakterde olan, nörojenik tümörlerdir. Bu olgu sunumunda, 33 yaşındaki erkek hastada tespit edilen, 4x4 cm boyutlarındaki retroperitoneal ganglionöromayı, literatürü gözden geçirerek sunmaktayız.

Retroperitoneal ganglioneuroma: Case report

Abstract

Ganglioneuromas are neurogenic tumors those often originate from sympathetic ganglion cells, and less frequently from the adrenal medulla and peripheral nerves. These tumors are slow-growing and have a more benign character compared to other cell types. The case of a 33-year-old male who presented with a 4x4 cm primary retroperitoneal ganglioneuroma is presented, and the relevant literature is reviewed.
