Comparison of serum c-reactive protein levels between benign prostate hyperplasia and prostate cancer in patients undergoing prostate biopsy

Abstract

Objective: It has been argued that prostate cancer may have an association with inflammation. Prostate specific antigen is widely used for diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of prostate cancer. C-reactive protein is a widely utilized marker of inflammation.
