Nüks dev retroperitoneal liposarkom: Olgu sunumu ve literatürün gözden geçirilmesi

Year 2018, Volume: 13 Issue: 3, 63 - 67, 01.10.2018

Abstract

Retroperitoneal
rastlanan histolojik tip liposarkomdur. Retroperitoneal liposarkomlarda yaşam
süresini uzatan majör tedavi şekli geniş cerrahi rezeksiyondur. Cerrahi
sunduk.

Recurrence giant retroperitoneal liposarcoma: A case report and review of the literature

Year 2018, Volume: 13 Issue: 3, 63 - 67, 01.10.2018

Abstract

Retroperitoneal sarcomas are rare tumors and form 15% of all soft tissue sarcomas. The most common histologic type of
retroperitoneal sarcomas is liposarcoma,
which are frequently diagnosed incidentally.
Major treatment in retroperitoneal liposarcoma is extensive surgical resection. Because of
the risk of local recurrence and metastasis after surgery, these patients should be followed
up by multidiciplinary for a long time. Postoperative follow-up of the patients should be
multidisciplinary.

Herein we presented our approach to a
72-year-old liposarcoma case, who was admitted without follow-up after the first ope-
ration and was presented with a giant retro-
peritoneal mass of 24 cm 16 years later.
