Zeranol İmplante Edilen Erkek Kuzuların İç Salgı Bezleri ile Genital Organlarındaki Patolojik Bulgular

Abstract

Bu çalışmada zeranol Ralgro® implante edilen erkek kuzuların genital organları ile iç salgı bezlerinde meydana gelen değişiklikler değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada 32 adet, 3 aylık ±10 gün erkek, Akkaraman ırkı kuzu kullanıldı. Deneme grubundaki kuzuların kulak derisi altına sırasıyla 12 I. grup , 24 mg II. grup ve 96 mg Ill.grup zeranol implante edilerek, 33 gün sonra nekropsileri yapıldı. Adenohipofizde asidofil hücrelerin sayı ve büyüklük olarak arttığı, bazofil hücrelerin ise sayı ve büyüklük olarak azaldığı dikkati çekti. Deneme süresinin sonunda tiroid bezlerinin aktivasyon durumlarının bazı kuzularda azaldığı, bazılarının etkilenmediği veya aktivasyonun arttığı gözlendi. Pathological Findings in the Endocrine Glands and Genital Organs of the Male Lambs implanted with Zeranol

Abstract

This experiment yvas conducted to examine the changes on the endocrine glands and reproductive organs in zeranol Ralgro® implanted male lambs. Three-months old thirtytyvo male Akkaraman lambs yvere used for this study. The treatment groups yvere implanted subcutaneously at the ear of the lambs yvith 12 mg Group I , 24 mg Group II and 96 mg Group III zeranol. The non-treatment group yvas served as control. After 33 days, all the lambs yvere necropsied. The acidophil cells shoyved a significant increase in number and size, hoyvever, there yvas a significant decrease in number and size of basophil cells in the pars distalls of pituitary glands. Thyroid gland activity in treated groups vvere noticed to increase in the fırst treatment and to decrease or remain unchanged in the second treatment in generally.
