Biochemical approach to Leismaniosis

Abstract

The case is detected in two dogs which were Kangal and German Sheephard breeds and have been brought to Pasteur Veterinary Polyclinic in İstanbul. Lethargy, weight loss, lynphadenopathy, dermatitis, systemic alopecia, keratoconjunctivitis, ulcerative lesions on the pinnae have been inspected on both of the patients. Diagnosis was based on immunochromatografıc method by test kits and the results was positive in both cases. Lymphocytosis is detected on the hemogram of both dogs, but the decrease of Erythrocyte, Hemoglobin, Hematokrit is observed on only one of them. Biochemical results were hypoalbuminemia, hyperglobulinemia, proteinurie, lymphocytosis, increase of Alanin aminotransferaz and also renal ephitelial tissue was found in the urine analysis

Leishmaniasis olgusuna biyokimyasal yaklaşım

Abstract

Bu olguya İstanbul Pasteur Veteriner Polikliniğine getirilen Kangal ve Germen Shepherd ırkı iki köpekte rastlandı. Her iki hastada letarji, zayıflama, lenfadenopati, dermatitis, genel kıl dökülmesi, keratokonjunktivitis, kulak uçlarında ülseratif lezyonlar izlendi. Hastalığın teşhisi immunokromatografik metoda dayalı hazır kitlerle gerçekleşti ve her iki olguda sonuç pozitif çıktı. Hemogram tablosunda her iki hastada lenfositozis oluşurken, sadece 1. hastada Eritrosit Hemoglobin, Hematokrit değerlerinde düşüş izlendi. Biyokimyasal olarak hipoalbuminemi, hiperglobulinemi, proteinüri, lenfositozis, Alanin aminotransferaz’de artış ve idrarın mikroskobik muayenesinde böbrek epitellerine rastlanıldı
