Abstract

Bu derlemede, süt sığırı yetiştiriciliğinde cinsiyeti belirlenmiş buzağı üretim teknikleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Süt sığırı yetiştiriciliğinde damızlık üreticileri sürünün büyümesi ve yenilenmesi için dişi buzağı, kasaplık hayvan üreticileri ise erkek buzağı arzu ederler. Ekonomik nedenlerle doğacak yavrunun cinsiyetini kontrol etmek için arzu edilen cinsiyet hücreleri arasındaki döllenmeyi sağlayacak imkân ve teknikler üzerinde önemle durulmaktadır. Bu amaçla araştırmacılar, sperma teknolojisinin yetiştiricilikte kullanılmasına yönelik araştırmalarını sürdürmektedirler
