Üreme Mevsimi Dışında Genç Keçilerde Flugeston Asetat Vaginal Sünger ve Norgestomet Kulak İmplantı Uygulamalarıyla Östrüslerin Uyarılması

Abstract

Çalışmada; üreme mevsimi dışında genç keçilerde, kısa ve uzun süreli vaginal sünger (flugeston asetat) ve kulak
implantı (norgestomet) uygulamalarının östrüs uyarımı üzerine etkileri değerlendirildi. Araştırmada, yaşları 12-16
ay arasında değişen toplam 80 baş kıl keçisi kullanıldı. Keçiler; kısa süreli sünger (KSS), kısa süreli implant (KSİ),
uzun süreli sünger (USS) ve uzun süreli implant (USİ) olmak üzere dört eşit gruba ayrıldı. Flugeston asetat içeren
vaginal süngerler (20 mg); KSS grubundaki keçilere 8 gün süreyle, USS grubundaki keçilere ise 12 süreyle
uygulandı. Norgestomet (3 mg) kulak implatı KSİ grubuna 8 gün, USİ grubuna ise 12 süre ile uygulandı. Tiaprost
tromethamol (PGF2α; 0.294 mg) ve PMSG (400 IU) KSS ve KSİ grubundaki keçilere vaginal sünger ya da implantların
yerleştirilmesini takiben 7. günde, USS ve USİ grubundaki ise 11. günde kas içi enjekte edildi. Östrüsleri tespit
edilen keçiler elde sıfat yöntemi ile çiftleştirildi. Gebelik teşhisi çiftleşmeyi takip eden 70. günlerde B-mode real
time ultrasonografi ile gerçekleştirildi. Östrüs oranı, östrüs gösterme zamanı, gebelik oranı, doğum oranı, gebelik
süresi ve yavru verimleri sırasıyla; KSS grubunda %100, 26.5±2.2 saat, %50, %100, 148.0±0.75 gün ve 1.0, USS
grubunda %100, 30.6±2.2 saat, %5, %100, 152.0 gün ve 1.0, KSİ grubunda %100, 36.6±2.2 saat, %61.1, %100,
147.7±0.79 gün ve 1.0, ve USİ grubunda ise %100, 28.8±1.8 saat, %35, %100, 151.7±0.92 gün ve 1.0 olarak elde
edildi. Gruplar arasında östrüs oranı, doğum oranı, gebelik süresi ve yavru verimleri arasında önemli bir farklılık
belirlenmedi (P>0.05). KSS ve USS gruplarında, östrüs gösterme zamanı açısından bir farklılık gözlenemezken
(P > 0.05), KSİ ve USİ grupları arasındaki farklılık önemli bulundu (P < 0.05). KSİ ve KSS gruplarında elde edilen
gebelik oranları USS grubundan daha yüksek (P < 0.05), ancak USİ grubu ile benzerdi.
Sonuç olarak; üreme mevsimi dışındaki genç keçilerde, östrüslerin uyarılması için PMSG ve PGF2α ile kombine
edilen kısa (8 gün) ve uzun (12 gün) süreli flugeston asetat intra vaginal sünger ve norgestomet kulak implantı
uygulamalarının başarılı şekilde kullanılabileceği görüldü. Bununla birlikte, kısa süreli vaginal sünger ya da kulak
implantı uygulanan gruplarda elde edilen gebelik oranlarının, uzun süreli uygulamalara göre daha yüksek olması
nedeniyle, üreme mevsimi dışındaki genç keçilerde östrüslerin uyarılması için kısa süreli vaginal sünger ya da
kulak implatı uygulamalarının önerilebileceği kanaatine varıldı.
