Veteriner Cerrahide Kullanılan Dikiş Materyalleri

Abstract

Dikiş materyalleri dokuları bir araya getirmek ve ligatür uygulamaları için kullanılmaktadır. Günümüzde farklı tip dikiş materyalleri mevcuttur. Dikiş materyallerinin, yara iyileşme sürecinde doku iyileşmesine destek sağladığı için veteriner cerrahide önemli bir yeri vardır. İplik seçimi; dikiş materyalinin fiziksel ve biyolojik özelliklerine, dokuların iyileşme süreçlerine ve yara koşullarına göre yapılmalıdır. İdeal dikiş materyali özeliklerini taşıyan bir dikiş materyali henüz yoktur. Bu derlemede, dikiş materyallerinin özelliklerini ve endikasyon alanlarını ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır
