General Principles
- Manuscripts may be published in either Turkish or English.
- Manuscripts submitted to the journal must not have been previously published elsewhere or be under consideration for publication in another journal. Manuscripts derived from postgraduate theses and conference/symposium proceedings may be submitted to the journal, provided that an appropriate ethical disclosure is included at the beginning of the manuscript.
- For studies requiring ethics committee approval, ethical approval must be obtained, and the name of the ethics committee, approval date, and approval number must be stated in the Methods section. A copy of the ethics committee approval must also be uploaded to the journal system as a supplementary file at the time of submission.
- Submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism by the Editorial Board using software such as iThenticate, Turnitin, or İntihal.net. The maximum similarity index accepted by the journal is 20%.
- For manuscripts with more than one author, a Conflict of Interest and Author Contribution Form must be completed and submitted.
- Manuscripts should contain between 4,000 and 6,000 words, including the title, abstract, and references. For manuscripts exceeding this limit, the Editorial Board will determine whether the manuscript may proceed to evaluation.
- Each manuscript must include a Turkish and English title, a Turkish Abstract and an English Abstract of 200–250 words, and at least three Turkish keywords and their English equivalents. Keywords should be arranged from general to specific. The Abstract and English Abstract should each be written as a single paragraph. The abstract should present the basic methodological framework of the study, including its subject, scope, significance, purpose, and methods; report the main findings; and indicate the principal conclusions reached.
- Manuscripts must be prepared using the journal's manuscript template, or existing manuscripts must be transferred to the template. Formatting requirements are as follows: Times New Roman, 11-point font, justified alignment, first-line indentation, single line spacing, and 3 pt spacing before and after paragraphs (Style: Normal). Manuscripts that are not prepared using the journal's manuscript template will not be considered for evaluation.
- The APA 7 citation style is used for in-text citations and references. References should not be presented as footnotes but cited within the text using the author surname (or institutional author/report title, where applicable), year, and page number.
