Yaşlılarda Üriner İnkontinans: Günlük Yaşam Aktivitesi, Yaşam Kalitesi Ve Uyum Güçlüğü

Öz

Bu çalışmada yaşlılarda Üriner İnkontinans (Üİ) belirlenmesi; Üİ’ı olan
yaşlılarında günlük yaşam aktiviteleri, yaşam kalitesi ve uyum güçlüğünün
incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma tanımlayıcı tiptedir.
Araştırmanın evrenini 2018
yılının son üç ayında bir kamu hastanesi İç Hastalıkları Kliniklerine başvuran
65 yaş üzerindeki bireyler oluşturmuştur. Herhangi bir örneklem yöntemi
kullanılmadan evrenin tamamına ulaşılması planlanmıştır. Çalışmaya dahil olmayı
kabul eden 384 yaşlı örneklemi
oluşturmuştur.
Veri toplama formu olarak,  sosyodemografik sorular ve Barthel Günlük
Yaşam Aktiviteleri Ölçeği (GYAÖ), Lawton & Brody Enstirümantal Günlük Yaşam
Aktiviteleri Ölçeği (EGYAÖ), Uluslararası İnkontinans Sorgulama Formu,
Yaşlılarda Uyum Güçlüğünü Değerlendirme Ölçeği (YUGDÖ) kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaya
katılan yaşlıların yaş ortalaması 72.40±5.43
olup, 245’i kadındı. Son bir yıl içinde idrar
kaçırdığını bildirenlerin sayısı 311’dir. Üİ olan yaşlıların
EGYAÖ’i puan ortalaması
15.03±2.34
GYAÖ’i puan
ortalaması ise
90.24±4.2
bulunmuştur. Üİ sadece tıbbi yönden değil sosyal ve psikolojik açılardan da ele
almak gerekmektedir.
