The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of Nature Relatedness (NR) and the level of Attitude Towards Eco-recreation (ATE) of individuals who regularly participate in recreational hiking. The population of the research consists of individuals who are members of nature sports communities on social media platforms and participate in hiking regularly. In this study, a simple random sampling method was used. Within the framework of the sample of the research, a total of 336 individuals who are members of these communities were reached. The data of the research was obtained via the online survey method. Throughout the analysis of the data, the reliability and normality tests of the measurement tools were used. In order to determine the differences between the variables, one-way analysis of variance and correlation analysis were used to determine the relationship between the variables. According to the research findings, NR and ATE levels differ significantly in terms of the frequency of participation in hiking. In addition, it was revealed that there was a positive relationship between the NR and ATE variables. As a result, it was seen that as NR and ATE increase frequency of participation in hiking increases. Thus, it was concluded that as NR increases, ATE increases in the same way, and NR was an important predictor of ATE.
