Idiopathic Scrotal Calcinosis

Abstract

Idiopathic scrotal calcinosis is a rare benign disorder of scrotal skin which presents with multiple, asymptomatic nodules on the scrotum. These nodules usually occur during childhood or early adulthood. Because of the benign course and the negligible symptoms, treatment is often done only for cosmetic reasons. A 55 year-old male patient in the scrotum draining nodules diagnosed with idiopathic scrotal calcinosis and this rare disease is presented with recent literature.

İdiyopatik Skrotal Kalsinozis

Abstract

İdiyopatik skrotal kalsinozis, skrotumda multipl asemptomatik nodüllerle seyreden benign bir hastalıktır. Bu nodüller genellikle çocukluk ve erken erişkinlik döneminde ortaya çıkmaktadır. Benign davranış göstermesi ve ihmal edilebilir semptomlara yol açması nedeniyle tedavi yalnızca kozmetik nedenlerle yapılmaktadır. Skrotumda drene olan nodülleri bulunan 55 yaşında erkek hastaya idiyopatik skrotal kalsinozis tanısı konulmuş, nadir görülen bu hastalık güncel literatür eşliğinde tartışılarak sunulmuştur.
