A Rare Cause of Hıp Pain, A Case Report of Osteocondrom

Abstract

Osteochondromas (exocytoses) are the most common benign tumors of the bone. They constitute 20-50% of all benign tumors and 10-15% of all bone tumors. It is probably a developmental malformation and consists of a bone-derived body and cartilage-derived hat. Among the most common causes of hip pain are osteoarthritis, inflammatory pathologies, osteoporosis, piriformis syndrome, greater trochanter bursitis, tendinopathies, labral tears and femoroacetabular impingement. In our case; There was osteochondroma detected at the femoral head and neck junction.

Nadir Görülen Bir Kalça Ağrısı Nedeni, Osteokondrom’lu Bir Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Osteokondromlar (ekzositozlar) kemiğin en sık rastlanan iyi huylu tümörleridir. Tüm iyi huylu tümörlerin %20-50 sini ve tüm kemik tümörlerinin %10-15’ini oluştururlar. Muhtemelen gelişimsel malformasyon olup kemik kaynaklı gövde ve kıkırdak kaynaklı şapkadan oluşur. En sık kalça ağrısı yapan nedenler arasında osteoartrit, inflamatuvar patolojiler, osteoporoz, piriformis sendromu, büyük trokanter bursiti, tendinopatiler, labral yırtıklar ve femoroasetabular sıkışma gibi hastalıklar sayılabilirken bizim sunduğumuz olguda; femur baş boyun bileşkesinde saptanan osteokondrom mevcuttu.
