Demiryolu Sektöründe Dünya Gelişme Beklentileri ve Türkiye’nin Durumunun Araştırılması

Öz

Günümüzde değişen tüketici alışkanlıkları, konfor, hız, çevre ve emniyet açılarından demiryolu ile taşımacılık güvenilir bir ulaşım yolu olarak sürdürülebilir ve verimli bir seçenek olarak ön plana çıkmaktadır. Demiryolu yatırımları bölgesel ekonomik ve sosyal gelişmişlik farklılıklarını azaltacak yönde dünya genelinde artan bir şekilde devam etmektedir. Avrupa demiryolları endüstrileri birliğinin (UNIFE) çalışmasına göre gelecek yıllarda demiryolu sektöründe pazar gelişme beklentilerine göre dünya demiryolu marketinin ortalama %2,3 yıllık büyüme ile 2016-2021 yılları arasında pazarın ortalama yıllık 185 milyar € değerine ulaşması tahmin edilmektedir. Gelecek yıllarda pazar gelişme beklentileri çerçevesinde demiryolu sektörü ürün ve servis sağlayıcılarının yaptıkları işlerde; gelecek organizasyonel planlamalarını yük ve yolcu taşımacılığında müşteri beklentilerini karşılayacak nitelikte verimlilik ve kalite yönetimini arttıracak şekilde yeniden şekillendirmeleri beklenmektedir. Bu çalışmada farklı kaynaklardan elde edilen demiryollarına ait istatistiksel veriler ve bilgiler doğrultusunda dünyada demiryolu sektöründe bölgesel olarak beklenen ürün ve hizmet grupları pazar gelişmeleri ve Türkiye’nin mevcut durumu analiz edilerek beklenen gelişmeler değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde ise elde edilen sonuçlarla gelecekte dünya demiryolu pazarında ülkemize ait sektör payının arttırılmasına yönelik öneriler paylaşılmıştır.

Investigation of the World Railways Sector Development Prospects and Turkey's Status

Abstract

Todays, changing consumer habits, comfort convenience, speed, environment and safety in terms of transportation by rail as a reliable transportation route is a sustainable and efficient option comes to the fore. Railway investments are increasingly rising worldwide to reduce regional economic and social development disparities. According to the study of the European Rail Industry Association (UNIFE), market growth prospects in the railway sector in the coming years, the world rail market is expected to reach an average annual value of € 185 billion in 2016-2021, with an annual growth rate of 2.3%. Railway sector product and service providers are expected to reshape their future organizational plans in the related works in a way that will meet customer expectations in freight and passenger transport in order to increase efficiency and quality management within the framework of market development expectations in the coming years. In this study, regional expectations of market growth for railways product and service groups in the World and Turkey’s current status are analyzed in accordance with statistical data and information that are obtained from different sources depend on the railway sector and the expected developments are evaluated. In the conclusion section the results were shared with the suggestions to increase of the Turkish railway sector ratio in the world railways market in the future.
