This research was carried out to determine the in situ rumen degradability characteristics of protected proteins. Sunflower meal SFM , cottonseed meal CSM and soybean meal SBM were used as protein sources. SFM, CSM and SBM treated with formaldehyde at the level of 1.1, 0.9 and 0.6 % of crude protein contents. Three heads rumen cannulated Merino rams were used as animal material in the study. Both SFM, CSM, SBM and formaldehyde treated SFMf, CSMf, SBMfwere incubated in the rumen for 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, 24 and 48 hours. At the end of 48 hours of rumen incubation, degradability for dry matter of SFM, SFM r, CSM, CSMf, SBM and SBMf were found as 79.45, 49.51, 59.65, 44.53, 95.37 and 76.36 %; organic matters degradability as 78.15, 47.01, 55.43, 37.28, 93.07 and 73.68 %; crude protein degradability as 95.58, 39.14, 70.20, 55.41, 93.86 and 60.08 %, respectively. Effective ruminal degradability of dry matter for SFM, SFM,, CSM, CSM f, SBM and SBMf were 60.07, 26.89, 39.76, 31.55, 63.08 and 35.24 %; organic matters 57.61, 23.40, 35.03, 27.47, 62.70 and 34.04 %; crude protein 66.12, 30.74, 45.07, 38.40, 68.35 and 41.23 %, respectively. Results indicated that, formaldehyde treatment decreased ruminal dry matter, organic matters and crude protein degradabilities of SFM, CSM and SBM. This treatment also decreased in ruminal potential degradabilities, degradation rate constants and effective degradability of dry matter, organic matters and crude protein of the meals.
Bu araştı rma, korunmuş proteinlerin in situ rumen parçalanabilirlik özelliklerinin saptanmas ı amac ı ile düzenlenmiştir. Ara şt ı rmada protein kayna ğı olarak ayçiçeğ i tohumu küspesi ATK , pamuk tohumu küspesi PTK ve soya küspesi SK kullan ı lmışt ı r. Hem ATK, PTK, SK hem de formaldehit ile i şlenmiş ATKf, PTKf, SKf2, 4, 8, 12, 16, 24 ve 48 saat süre ile rumende inkübe edilmişlerdir. 48 saatlik rumen inkubasyonu sonucunda ATK, ATKf, PTK, PTK,, SK ve SKf' nin kuru madde parçalanabilirliğ i s ı ras ı yla % 79.45, 49.51, 59.65, 44.53, 95.37 ve 76.36; organik maddeler parçalanabilirli ğ i % 78.15, 47.01, 55.43, 37.28, 93.07 ve 73.68; ham protein parçalanabilirli ğ i % 95.58, 39.14, 70.20, 55.41, 93.86 ve 60.08 olarak saptanm ıştı r. Bununla birlikte ATK, ATKr, PTK, PTKf, SK ve SKf ' nin rumen etkin kuru madde parçalanabilirli ğ i s ı ras ı yla % 60.07, 26.89, 39.76, 31.55, 63.08 ve 35.24; etkin organik maddeler parçalanabilirli ğ i % 57.61, 23.40, 35.03, 27.47, 62.70 ve 34.04; etkin ham protein parçalanabilirliğ i % 66.12, 30.74, 45.07, 38.40, 68.35 ve 41.23 olarak belirlenmi ştir. Sonuç olarak formaldehit ile i şleme, ATK, PTK ve SK ' nin rumen kuru madde, organik maddeler ve ham protein parçalanabilirlikleri ile kuru madde, organik maddeler ve ham proteinlerinin rumendeki potansiyel parçalanabilirliklerini, parçalanma h ı z sabitlerini ve etkin parçalanabilirliklerini dü şürmüştür.
