Interaction of Calcium-Phosphate in Sakaryabaşı Çifteler-Eski şehir West Pond

Abstract

This research was carried out in West Pond which supplies water to the Sakaryaba şı Fish Culture and Research Station. Calcium levels were determined in water and sediment samples taken from the station in the hard water eutrophic pond in 2000 july, october , 2001 january, april . Pond's sediment had a high calcium level 276,23- 297,67 pgg-1dw and pond water calcium concentrations 59,75-80,25 mg 1 -1 were higher than overlying and porewater calcium. The lower level of total fı ltrable orthophosphate in pond water than that of porewater could be explained by coprecipitation of phosphate with calcium. The effects of pH and water temperature on the exchange of phosphorus between water and sediment were also discussed.

Abstract

Bu araştı rma Sakaryaba şı -Çifteler Bal ı k Üretim ve Ara şt ı rma istasyonu'nun su ihtiyac ı n ı karşı layan Bat ı Göleti'nde yürütülmü ştür. °trafik ve sert sulu gölette, belirlenen bir istasyondan 2000 y ı l ı n ı n temmuz ve ekim ayları nda, 2001 y ı l ı n ı n ocak ve nisan aylar ı nda al ı nan su ve sediment örneklerinde kalsiyum düzeyleri belirlenmi ştir. Sedimentin yüksek düzeyde kalsiyum 276,23-297,67 pg/g KA bar ı nd ı rd ığı ve gölet suyunun kalsiyum konsantrasyonunun 59,75- 80,25 mg/I , sedimentin hemen üst bölümündeki su ile sediment gözenek suyuna göre daha fazla oldu ğu bulunmuştur. Gölet suyu toplam filtre edilebilir ortofosfat de ğerlerinin, sediment gözenek suyu toplam filtre edilebilir ortofosfat değerlerinden düşük olması , fosfat ı n kalsiyumla birleşip çökmesi şeklinde aç ı klanabilir. Fosfat ı n sediment-su aras ı ndaki değişiminde pH ve su sı caklığı n ı n etkisi de tartışı lm ıştı r.
