Bu araşt ı rma, Tokat-Kazova şartlar ı nda 2. ürün silajl ı k olarak yetiştirilebilecek m ı s ı r çeşitlerinin belirlenmesi amac ı yla 1996, 1997 ve 1998 y ı lları nda yürütülmü ştür. Denemede özel ve kamu kurulu şlar ı ndan sağ lanan 13 mı s ı r çeşidi kullan ı lm ışt ı r. M ı s ı r çeşitlerinde bitki boyu, yaprak oran ı , sap oran ı , koçan oran ı , koçan verimi, yeşil ot ve kuru madde verimi gibi özellikler incelenmi ştir. Araşt ı rmada incelenen özellikler yönünden çe şitler aras ı nda istatistiki olarak önemli farkl ı l ı klar bulunmuştur. En yüksek yeşil ot verimi 10558.3 kg/da RX-947, en dü şük yeşil ot verimi 7720.0 kg/da P.3167 çeşidinden elde edilmiştir. En yüksek kuru madde verimi 2076.6 kg/da RX-788, en dü şük kuru madde verimi 1513.9 kg/da LG-55 çe şidinde belirlenmi ştir. Çeş itlerin bitki boyu de ğerleri 203.8-283.3 cm, yaprak oran ı % 14.3-21.3, sap oran ı % 57.1-65.2 ve koçan oranlar ı % 15.7-26.3 aras ı nda değişim göstermi ştir. En yüksek koçan verimi 2745.5 kg/da RX-788, en dü şük 1417.2 kg/da LG-60 çeşidinde belirlenmiştir.
This study was conducted to determine the corn cultivars growing for silage production as second crop in between 1996, 1997 and 1998 years in condition of Kazova-Tokat. 13 corn cultivars which had been obtained from different sources were used in these trials. In the research, plant height, plant composition % leaf, stem and ear or head ratio , fodder yield and dry matter yield were determined. The results of variance analyses showed that there were statistically significant differences among cultivars for all characters. The highest fodder yield 10558.3 kg/da was obtained from RX-947 and the lowest fodder yield 7720.0 kg/da was obtained from P.3167. Plant height, leaf ratio, stern ratio and ear ratio of varieties changed between 203.8-283.3 cm, 14.3-21.3 %, 57.1-65.2 % and 15.7-26.3 %, respectively. While the lowest ear yield 1417.2 kg/da was obtained from LG-60 cultivars, the highest ear yield 2745.5 kg/da was obtained from RX-788 varieties
